Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer in maintaining the hotel's physical infrastructure and mechanical systems. Your duties will include performing routine maintenance checks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and making necessary repairs. You will also be tasked with monitoring the hotel's energy usage and implementing efficiency measures whenever possible.
Additionally, you will work closely with the maintenance team to address any guest room or public area maintenance requests in a timely manner. Your attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills will be crucial in ensuring the comfort and safety of our guests.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and any relevant certifications or technical training will be considered a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure are also essential for success in this role.
